CALGARY, Alberta, Oct. 09, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- News Release – TC Energy Corporation (TSX, NYSE: TRP) (TC Energy or the Company) today announced that TransCanada PipeLines Limited (TCPL) has closed an offering of US$350 million of 6.250 per cent Fixed-for-Life Junior Subordinated Notes due Nov. 1, 2085 (Notes). The Notes were offered through a syndicate of underwriters, co-led by Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, BofA Securities, Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, RBC Capital Markets, LLC and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC.

TC Energy’s ANR Pipeline Company has been a backbone of a connected energy system serving Wisconsin, Michigan and the Midwest for decades. In response to the region’s growing demand for natural gas, TC Energy is proposing the Northwoods Project.

NGTL GP is proposing to decommission 11 laterals or loops and one co-located meter station on the NGTL System as these assets are no longer required to meet customer demand.

NGTL GP is proposing to permanently cease operations at 14 lateral pipelines or loops on the NGTL System within Alberta as these facilities are no longer necessary to provide service to customers.
