The proposed Virginia Electrification Project (“VEP”) is an expansion and reliability project that will provide much-needed natural gas supply to meet the increasing market demand of residential, commercial and industrial consumers in the Commonwealth of Virginia, as well as reduce net greenhouse gas (“GHG”) emissions on Columbia Gas Transmission, LLC’s (“TCO”) pipeline system. Upon completion, VEP will provide an additional 35 million cubic feet per day to serve growing energy needs in Virginia in a safe, reliable and sustainable manner.
