TC Energy Corporation today announced net income attributable to common shares for second quarter 2019 of $1.1 billion or $1.21 per share compared to net income of $785 million or $0.88 per share for the same period in 2018.
The Towerbirch pipeline project will include 55 km of 36-inch pipeline paralleling the existing NGTL Groundbirch Mainline, along with new meter stations, and expansion of one meter station. The majority of this projects scope will be within British Comumbia, with only a portion in Alberta.
TC Energy today announced net income attributable to common shares for third quarter 2019 of $739 million or $0.79 per share compared to net income of $928 million or $1.02 per share for the same period in 2018.
With this project, 2.9 miles (4.7 km) will be built along with two compressor stations and replacement of 26 miles (41.8) of existing pipeline. The changes will increase capacity by 1.3 billion cubic feet per day.
NGTL GP is proposing to decommission 11 laterals or loops and one co-located meter station on the NGTL System as these assets are no longer required to meet customer demand.
