TC Energy is pleased to announce the expanded role of Bevin Wirzba to Executive Vice-President, Strategy and Corporate Development, Group Executive, Canadian Natural Gas and Liquids Pipelines and President, Coastal GasLink, effective immediately.

TransCanada Corporation announced that shareholders representing approximately 99.55% per cent of votes cast approved a special resolution authorizing the Company to amend its articles to change its name to: TC Energy Corporation (Corporation TC Énergie). The common shares of the Company will continue to trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under its existing trading symbol, TRP.

With a mind on safety and helping to develop the skills of his co-workers, it’s sometimes hard for him to believe how much has changed since that day in 1976 when he first embarked on a journey that has turned into a successful career.

Tiara Goodswimmer graduated from Women Building Futures’ (WBF) Journeywoman Start program at arguably one of the worst times possible this year – in March, just after the COVID-19 pandemic was declared – but bad timing hasn’t stopped her. Although her graduation and job interviews were cancelled due to social distancing, she still quickly found work on a construction site. Tiara is now looking forward to starting a new job at the end of June as an electrical labourer in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, with plans to go back to school to become a journeywoman electrician.

TC Energy signed a power purchase agreement for 100 per cent of the offtake — and all future environmental attributes — for the 297 MW Sharp Hills Wind Farm. The wind project is near Sedalia and New Bridgen in Alberta.
