Natural Gas Icon

Overview

North Baja Pipeline LLC filed an application in December 2019 before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to expand one compressor station and modify two meter stations on the North Baja Pipeline System in Arizona and California.

The proposed North Baja XPress (NBXP) project would increase the transportation capacity on the North Baja Pipeline System, with all upgrades occurring on property and within facilities currently owned or operated by North Baja Pipeline LLC. Construction is expected to start in October 2021, with an anticipated in-service date of November 2022.

The North Baja Pipeline System supplies gas to Arizona, California and Mexico.

Facilities and associated work:
  • The Ehrenberg Compressor Station and the El Paso Meter Station in La Paz County, Arizona, will be upgraded with a new compressor unit and a new natural gas measurement system.
  • The Ogilby Meter Station in Imperial County, California, will also receive a new gas measurement system.
