Unlock the power of volunteering

The Special Olympics Canada Winter Games Calgary 2024 have officially launched, and we couldn’t be more excited! The Games expect to welcome thousands of visitors, including over 1,200 athletes, coaches, and officials, along with their families and friends. Together, with our over 750 volunteers and fans, we can give them the experience of a lifetime.

Calgary is an extraordinary city not only for its notable winter sports scene but also for the spirit of its people. With a community that is always willing to get involved, we can’t wait to get behind the over 750 volunteers it will take to help make the Games Calgary 2024 a success.

We are thrilled to be a presenting sponsor for the Calgary 2024 volunteer program. Sign up as a volunteer today and help create a safe and welcoming environment for all athletes and visitors while delivering a memorable experience.

“Not only am I honoured to be serving as co-chair of the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games Calgary 2024 along with Cheryl Bernard - a great leader and advocate for the benefits of sport - but I’m also proud that TC Energy and our incredible employees are supporting the Games through sponsorship of the Volunteer Program. We are united in our belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to participate in sports. Together, we are committed to making the Games a memorable and impactful experience for all involved.”
- François Poirier, President and CEO, and Games co-chair.

The countdown is on until you can see eight sports featured in seven venues throughout Calgary from Feb. 27 to March 2, 2024. As an added bonus, this event will also serve as a qualifier for the Special Olympics World Winter Games 2025.
