On June 28, Minnkota Power Cooperative outlined how an agreement with TC Energy will move Project Tundra into its final stage of project development. Tundra will represent TC Energy’s first carbon capture and sequestration project in the U.S. and will capture up to approximately 4 million tons of CO2 per annum from Minnkota’s Milton R. Young Station in North Dakota.

The power purchase agreement highlights TC Energy’s efforts to solve complex energy problems by developing a first-of-its-kind product to supply carbon-free energy round-the-clock.

Not a lot of people can state on their resumes that they’ve been the project manager for the successful construction of more than 70 new homes – all built within just a few months. Except for TC Energy Environmental Representative Melissa Dettling who worked with the BXP project team to construct log homes and two-layered rock structures for snakes along the right of way of the BXP pipeline, which went into service on Jan. 1, 2021.
