The Tamazunchale Pipeline is a 370 km (230 miles) natural gas pipeline, comprised of two segments: Naranjos – El Sauz (130 km) and Tamazunchale - El Sauz, better known as the Tamazunchale Extension (240 km). The pipeline serves communities on the East Coast of Mexico and Central Mexico.

TransCanada Corporation announced its Topolobampo Pipeline project has been placed into service in northern Mexico, providing capacity for 670 million cubic feet of natural gas per day to markets in the states of Chihuahua and Sinaloa.

TC Energy Corporation today announced Russ Girling’s retirement as President and Chief Executive Officer and from its Board of Directors effective December 31, 2020. François Poirier, currently Chief Operating Officer, President, Power & Storage and Mexico, will succeed Mr. Girling as President and Chief Executive Officer and will join the Board January 1, 2021.

On the morning of September 17, 2019, following several months of negotiations with Mexico’s state power company, CFE, and with the country’s federal government including Mexico’s president himself, the Sur de Texas-Tuxpan marine pipeline (SDTT) went in-service, becoming one of the most critical energy infrastructure projects in the history of Mexico.

Meter stations are used to measure the volume and composition of natural gas transported through a pipeline.
