The first segments of pipe for Coastal GasLink arrived at storage sites in Kitimat and Chetwynd last week in anticipation of construction ramp up later next year. Deliveries to other areas across the project route will continue through April 2021 by vessel, rail or truck, until it’s needed for assembly and installation. That phase of construction is expected to start next summer and continue through to 2022.

The Canadian Mainline is 14,114 km (8,770 mile) in length and safely carries natural gas from the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) to Ontario and beyond. The map depicts the pipeline's western section viewed from Saskatchewan to Manitoba.

As part of promoting a healthy lifestyle, TransCanada teamed up with West Virginia University’s (WVU) Extension Services Family Nutrition Program to provide children throughout the state access to locally farmed produce free of cost through West Virginia’s Kids Farmers Market Program.
