LATHAM, N.Y., January 10, 2023 -- Plug Power Inc. (NASDAQ: PLUG), a leading provider of turnkey hydrogen solutions for the global green hydrogen economy, has been awarded an order to deliver two 30-tons-per-day (TPD) hydrogen liquefaction systems (also known as hydrogen liquefiers) to TC Energy Corporation (TSX, NYSE: TRP). These 30TPD hydrogen liquefaction systems utilize a hydrogen refrigeration cycle and bring to market one of the most energy efficient designs to date.

Extending from New York state to the Midwest and Southeast, TC Energy’s Columbia Gas Transmission system moves the natural gas relied upon by millions of Americans for their energy and heating needs.

The North Corridor Expansion Project in northwestern Alberta expanded pipeline capacity for the transportation of natural gas from the Peace River Project Area (PRPA) to growing markets located in northeastern Alberta. The Project included three pipeline components and one compressor station unit addition.

A 90 megawatt, natural gas-fired cogeneration facility in Saint John, New Brunswick, the Grandview Cogeneration Plant provides power for an Irving Oil Refinery.

From end to end, the Tula Pipeline Project is 287 km (178 miles) in length and will deliver fuel from Tuxpan, Veracruz, to communities in the states of Puebla and Hidalgo. The pipeline has the capacity to carry 886 million cubic feet per day of natural gas.
