TC Energy’s Canadian Mainline safely delivers natural gas from Alberta and B.C. to eastern markets.

We can confirm there was an incident at the construction site on the Northwest Mainline (NWML) Loop No. 2 Bear Canyon North Extension section of the North Corridor Expansion Project, near Fairview, Alta. on Aug. 26, 2022. A worker was performing planned construction activities on site and suffered a non-life-threatening injury. Our emergency procedures were activated and work on-site was immediately suspended. Emergency crews transported the worker by ambulance to the nearest hospital.

TC Energy is investing $146 million to build its first Canadian solar power project. It has the capacity to generate 81 megawatts, enough energy to power 20,000 homes annually.
