We can confirm that we are actively responding to an incident involving the NGTL natural gas system approximately 40 kilometres northwest of Edson, Alta in Yellowhead County. We are making all appropriate notifications to regulators, customers, stakeholders and Indigenous communities. We will provide more information as soon as it becomes available.

We congratulate Canadian Indigenous leaders for securing a landmark Indigenous Loan Guarantee Program with the federal government. The program promotes self-determination and unprecedented opportunities for Indigenous ownership in energy projects. Today’s announcement recognizes the vital role Indigenous Peoples play in Canada’s energy resource economy.

The purpose of this Policy is to outline expectations regarding internal and external communications, including Personnel’s personal use of Social Media to the extent that Personnel may refer to TC Energy or be perceived to be speaking on behalf of the Company.
