The North Corridor Expansion Project in northwestern Alberta expanded pipeline capacity for the transportation of natural gas from the Peace River Project Area (PRPA) to growing markets located in northeastern Alberta. The Project included three pipeline components and one compressor station unit addition.

TransCanada Corporation announced today that the National Energy Board (NEB) has recommended the federal government approve a variance to the previously issued North Montney Mainline Project certificate, which would allow construction to start on the proposed $1.4 billion natural gas project in northeast British Columbia.

These industry innovations not only make our business more efficient, but safer and more reliable. The P-Square Methodology developed by Technology, Development and Innovation has won the award for Quality while the 4D Inspection Tool which was developed by Project Delivery Excellence in partnership with an external vendor has won for Innovation.
