TC Energy is closely monitoring the wildfire situation in Western Canada and associated evacuation alerts/orders. Our priority is always the safety of our workers, their families, local and Indigenous communities and first responders. Our thoughts are with the people impacted by the wildfires.

For more than 20 years, Regional Land Representative Don Gresch has travelled up and down the Trans-Canada Highway visiting landowners and other key stakeholders along an 1,100-kilometre stretch of pipeline in northern Ontario. Whether acquiring land rights for expansion projects, permitting for pipeline maintenance activities or responding to pipeline system emergencies, managing relationships has been the key to success for Don.

On Nov. 11, we will pause to recognize Veterans Day in the U.S. and Remembrance Day in Canada in honour and memory of those who’ve served and sacrificed for our freedom. We’re fortunate to work alongside more than 200 veterans and soldiers – and proud to be part of a team that values the diverse skills, experience and perspective that veterans and military personnel bring to our workplace, and that supports their continued service in the military.

In February, we celebrate the rich and vibrant history, culture and achievements of the Black community, while remembering the many challenges faced over hundreds of years. While it is a month of celebration, it is also a time of reflection – to recognize, learn and participate. Education, awareness and action are critical to understanding and inclusion, and we all have a part to play.
