Edson Mainline Expansion Project – Commitment Tracking Table No. 5

The Canyon Creek Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project, located 13 kms from Hinton, will feature a 30-acre upper reservoir and four-acre lower reservoir and will have a power generation capacity of 75 MW, providing up to 37 hours of on-demand, flexible, clean energy and ancillary services to the Alberta electricity grid.

Located in British Columbia’s Peace River Regional District, the North Montney Mainline (NMML) provides the critical natural gas transmission infrastructure required to connect natural gas producers and downstream markets throughout Canada and the United States, generating tax revenues for hospitals, schools and more in some of B.C.’s more remote communities.

NGTL System (24,631 km) is connected to one of the largest supply basins on the continent, the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB).
