TC Energy Applauds Approval of H.R. 1 

"Today’s bipartisan approval of H.R. 1, the Lower Energy Costs Act, is a great step forward to expanding energy infrastructure, reducing global emissions, lowering energy costs for consumers and bringing more natural gas to market. North American natural gas exports are vital to meeting the world’s energy demands and it is important that any permitting reform efforts focus on a permitting and judicial review process that is stable, predictable, and efficient. Approval of this important legislation is an opportunity to make real bipartisan progress on permitting reform and we appreciate members of the U.S. House for taking the first step in this process."
