TransCanada Corporation announced today that it will proceed with construction of the Coastal GasLink pipeline project (Coastal GasLink) after a decision to sanction the LNG Canada natural gas liquefaction facility in Kitimat, British Columbia (B.C.) was announced earlier today by the joint venture participants of LNG Canada, a consortium comprised of Shell, PETRONAS, PetroChina, Mitsubishi Corporation and KOGAS (the LNG Canada Participants).

TransCanada is pleased to announce that its Coastal GasLink Pipeline Project has signed community and project agreements with all of the elected Indigenous bands along its pipeline route in British Columbia. These agreements, totaling 20 across the province, exemplify the strong Indigenous support received for the proposed natural gas pipeline project in B.C.

TransCanada today announced the expiry of the solicitation of consents by TransCanada PipeLines Limited (TCPL) in connection with proposed amendments to TCPL’s 1970 Indenture and 1993 Indenture pursuant to which the outstanding notes listed below were issued.
