NGTL GP is proposing to permanently cease operations at 14 lateral pipelines or loops on the NGTL System within Alberta as these facilities are no longer necessary to provide service to customers.

Following the House of Commons passing Bill C-5, including the Building Canada Act, TC Energy President and CEO François Poirier shared a statement.

Connecting to virtually every major pipeline in the U.S. Gulf Coast and additional Midwestern lines, TC Energy’s Columbia Gulf Transmission System (CGT) ensures energy reaches where it’s needed most, adapting to evolving energy demands and shifting environmental priorities.

TC Energy, in partnership with the Common Ground Alliance (CGA), would like to recognize youth from not-for-profit organizations such as Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of the U.S.A., 4-H and the National FFA Organization for committing to safe digging practices when undertaking improvement projects in their communities.
