Every year, TransCanada employees and contractors participate in a Fall giving and volunteering campaign called Get Empowered. This year's campaign raised $1.3 million in personal and company-matched donations. The team also tracked more than 12,300 volunteer hours across Canada, U.S. and Mexico. TransCanada matches employee and contractor donations 100 per cent year-round but the match increases to 200 per cent for this exhilarating campaign.
