In recognition of National Volunteer Week, Empower, TC Energy’s workforce giving and volunteering program, recognizes and celebrates our peoples’ amazing contributions through the power of volunteering. As an Empower Agent, Michelle brought her team together to strengthen the work-family relationship while simultaneously giving back to those who need the help.

TC Energy is pleased that the Government of Canada has approved the NOVA Gas Transmission Limited (NGTL) West Path Delivery 2023 Project, part of the West Path Delivery Program, after a robust assessment by the Canada Energy Regulator (CER).

Francis Robichaux has almost four and a half decades of experience in the energy industry, yet he still welcomes the new challenges that each day may present as a learning opportunity. With a mind on safety and helping to develop the skills of his co-workers, it’s sometimes hard for him to believe how much has changed since that day in 1976 when he first embarked on a journey that has turned into a successful career.

Access to water is a basic Human Right and, most of us take it for granted, however, for indigenous communities in northern Mexico that is not the case. Providing drinking water to these communities in the mountain region of Chihuahua has been a dire challenge for many decades. The extreme temperatures – reaching up to 40°C (104°F) in summer – and the desert conditions of the area cause severe droughts across that state every year. These conditions are exacerbated by the lack of infrastructure to supply water to smaller communities affected by shortages.
