Today, the inaugural TC Energy Summer Scholars Academy at the University of Houston’s College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics came to a close. The program, which supported 50 high school students interested in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) majors with the transition to college, was touted a success amidst the challenges of hosting it virtually due to COVID-19.

For members of TransCanada’s U.S. gas operations construction service's crew, it was supposed to be a routine maintenance project. Gary Thornburg and his crew made up of Bill Donner, Karl Clark and Brett Smith were dispatched just south of Bloomington, Indiana, where they would be working on a portion of the ANR pipeline.
Located entirely within the Municipal District of Bonnyville, this pipeline is south of the City of Cold Lake, Alberta, and is connected to the NGTL System. The existing Cold Lake Border Sales metering facility was replaced with a new metering facility to accommodate the additional gas volumes.
