HOUSTON, Texas – March 1, 2019 – News Release – TransCanada Corporation (TSX: TRP) (NYSE: TRP) (TransCanada) today announced the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has approved the full in-service of its Mountaineer XPress (MXP) project, allowing the company to increase the flow of gas on MXP and begin operating its Gulf XPress (GXP) project.

The NKY Gate Enhancement Project aims to modernize the acquired system and meet the growing natural gas demand in the region.
