As one of Canada's largest energy networks, the NGTL System connects natural gas from the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin to communities, businesses, industries and export markets that help power Canada's economy.

NGTL GP is proposing to permanently cease operations at 14 lateral pipelines or loops on the NGTL System within Alberta as these facilities are no longer necessary to provide service to customers.
