Coastal GasLink President David Pfeiffer and his family were among the members of the Coastal GasLink Climbers who scaled the notoriously steep Prince George Cutbanks on April 27, raising more than $7,300 in support of the fourth-annual Climb for Cancer. More than half the funds raised were matched through Empower, TransCanada’s giving and volunteering program which supports and encourages employees and contractors to give back to their communities.
Before construction of TC Energy’s recently completed Mountaineer XPress (MXP) natural gas infrastructure project, the project team spent countless hours identifying environmentally sensitive areas and modifying the route, in addition to developing construction techniques to minimize environmental disturbances. But once construction began, the team was presented with a unique challenge that showed no creature is too small when it comes to protecting wildlife.
On June 23, we celebrate International Women in Engineering Day (INWED)! This day celebrates the amazing work that women engineers are doing around the world. This year’s theme is engineering heroes. We recognize INWED as part of our commitment to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
