The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) was adopted by the General Assembly in 2007. The Declaration establishes a universal framework of minimum standards for the survival, dignity and well-being of the Indigenous peoples of the world.

Not a lot of people can state on their resumes that they’ve been the project manager for the successful construction of more than 70 new homes – all built within just a few months. Except for TC Energy Environmental Representative Melissa Dettling who worked with the BXP project team to construct log homes and two-layered rock structures for snakes along the right of way of the BXP pipeline, which went into service on Jan. 1, 2021.

In 2010, OSU-Cascades launched an Energy Systems Engineering four-year degree program, which TC Energy has supported for the last five years. The investment from TC Energy has allowed for experiential learning for senior-year students as they work on their final design projects, collaborating with local energy companies to solve a real-world problem.

The Redwater Cogeneration Plant, located at Williams Energy Canada Fractionation and Storage Plant in Redwater, Alta., has provided the province with approximately 46 megawatts of electricity since 2001.
