TC Energy Corporation today announced that the Board of Directors (Board) of TC Energy declared a quarterly dividend of $0.75 per common share for the quarter ending December 31, 2019 on the Company’s outstanding common shares.

Bloomberg announced that TC Energy, for the third year in a row, was included in the 2020 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI). The GEI recognizes companies committed to transparency in gender reporting and advancing women’s equality. The 2020 Index includes 325 global companies spanning 50 industries, headquartered across 42 countries and regions.

TransCanada Corporation announced its intention to change its name to TC Energy to better reflect the scope of the company’s operations as a leading North American energy infrastructure company. TransCanada’s shareholders will be asked to approve a special resolution to change the name at the company’s next Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders.
