TransCanada today announced the approval of proposed amendments to TransCanada PipeLines Limited’s (TCPL) 1970 Indenture by holders of the outstanding notes listed below issued pursuant to such indenture (the “1970 Notes”).

TransCanada Corporation has been notified of an unsolicited mini-tender offer by TRC Capital Corporation (TRC Capital) to purchase up to 2,500,000 common shares of TransCanada, representing approximately 0.28 per cent of TransCanada's outstanding common shares at a price of CDN $55.35 per common share. TransCanada does not endorse this unsolicited mini-tender offer.

TransCanada Corporation announced that the Board of Directors (Board) of TransCanada declared a quarterly dividend of $0.69 per common share for the quarter ending September 30, 2018, on the Company’s outstanding common shares.
