Well positioned to secure future growth opportunities as energy transition evolves -- TC Energy Corporation today announced net income attributable to common shares for second quarter 2021 of $982 million or $1.00 per share compared to net income of $1.3 billion or $1.36 per share for the same period in 2020.

Every year, TransCanada employees and contractors participate in a Fall giving and volunteering campaign called Get Empowered. This year's campaign raised $1.3 million in personal and company-matched donations. The team also tracked more than 12,300 volunteer hours across Canada, U.S. and Mexico. TransCanada matches employee and contractor donations 100 per cent year-round but the match increases to 200 per cent for this exhilarating campaign. Our people made a difference in their communities by giving their time and generosity to more than 1,400 causes they care about!

For many elders and their families, transitioning to life in any type of senior living situation can be a new and uncertain process. Whether elders are moving to an assisted living at home or nursing home facility, it can be overwhelming, and chances are they will have questions about what to expect and how the entire process works. Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation, in central Alberta, is hoping to make this transition easier for their elderly population by training younger community members to become certified Health Care Aide workers to provide care and support on and off the reserve.
