Every year, TransCanada employees and contractors participate in a month-long giving and volunteering campaign called Get Empowered. This year’s campaign, which wrapped up in September, raised almost $1 million in personal and company-matched donations.

Previously called the Martin Aboriginal Education Initiative, the organization founded by former Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin is dedicated to improving education for Indigenous students in Canada.
