A multi-year effort to expand the NGTL and Foothills systems has seen the in-service of several projects over the past few months, furthering North American energy security, boosting local economies and providing customers with additional market access.

TC Energy Corporation announced today that it has approved two new expansion projects totaling $1.3 billion on its wholly-owned natural gas pipeline systems. The $0.9 billion 2023 NGTL Intra-Basin System Expansion will deliver natural gas from the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) to markets within Alberta on the NOVA Gas Transmission Ltd. (NGTL) System, while the US$0.3 billion Alberta XPress project will see the expansion of the ANR Pipeline (ANR) to provide a seamless path for Canadian production to access growing LNG export and other markets along the U.S. Gulf Coast.

Since entering service in 2008, the Millennium Pipeline has delivered natural gas, provided jobs and supported local economies throughout the state of New York.

Bison Pipeline stretches 302 miles (486 km) across Wyoming and Montana to Midwestern North Dakota where it connects with another interstate natural gas pipeline.

The Millennium Pipeline is a gas transmission line that cuts across the Southern Tier of New York State and transports gas to New York City and its metropolitan area. The Pipeline has a capacity up to 525,400 Dth/d.
