TransCanada is pleased to announce that its Coastal GasLink Pipeline Project has signed community and project agreements with all of the elected Indigenous bands along its pipeline route in British Columbia. These agreements, totaling 20 across the province, exemplify the strong Indigenous support received for the proposed natural gas pipeline project in B.C.

This winter, more homes can be heated, and more power will be available to public buildings and industry with additional natural gas following completion of the West Path Delivery 2023 Projects.

In the midst of a challenging year, Coastal GasLink is proud to look back at all that we have accomplished together. TC Energy Corporation announced signing of option agreements to sell a 10 per cent equity interest in the Coastal GasLink Pipeline Limited Partnership to Indigenous communities across the project corridor. The opportunity to become business partners through equity ownership was made available to all 20 Nations holding existing agreements with Coastal GasLink.

Gas Transmission Northwest (GTN) is a 1,377-mile (2,216-km) pipeline system that transports Canadian natural gas to communities in Washington, Idaho, Oregon and California.
