Announcing the in-service of the Grand Rapids Pipeline Project, a 460-kilometer pipeline to transport crude oil production from their oil sands project to the Edmonton, Alberta market.

The British Columbia Integrated Pest Management Act & Regulations (IPMA and IPMR) include provisions for pesticide uses under a Pest Management Plan (PMP) – which is referred to as an Integrated Vegetation Management Plan or IVMP in this document. The objectives for the IVMP are to identify pests and set clear, distinct, and tangible thresholds that will assist in determining the level at which vegetation becomes a pest and identifying strategies for control.

Every year, TransCanada employees and contractors participate in a Fall giving and volunteering campaign called Get Empowered. This year's campaign raised $1.3 million in personal and company-matched donations. The team also tracked more than 12,300 volunteer hours across Canada, U.S. and Mexico. TransCanada matches employee and contractor donations 100 per cent year-round but the match increases to 200 per cent for this exhilarating campaign. Our people made a difference in their communities by giving their time and generosity to more than 1,400 causes they care about!

As part of the Pollinator Program in Mexico, teachers and more than 100 students from Villa Margarita, Hidalgo, participated in a School Planting Day, organized by TransCanada and Save Our Monarchs (SOM).
