News Release — TransCanada Corporation (TSX, NYSE: TRP) (TransCanada) today announced net income attributable to common shares for fourth quarter 2018 of $1.1 billion or $1.19 per share compared to net income of $0.9 billion or $0.98 per share for the same period in 2017.

TransCanada Corporation announced today that it will move forward with a proposed $140-million expansion of its NOVA Gas Transmission Ltd. (NGTL) System following the successful completion in March of an expansion capacity open season for incremental firm export delivery service at the Empress/McNeill Export Delivery Point.
