Coastal GasLink implemented a unique program within its workforce lodges known as the Community Workforce Accommodation Advisor (CWAA) Program. For many, the stress of the pandemic has taken its toll. For some, it has made access to necessities like food and housing even more challenging. Coastal GasLink wanted to find an impactful way to help those most in need.

The Project consists of a 206 kilometre (km), 42-inch pipeline, two compressor stations, and 14 meter stations. It will begin at a the northern point of the existing Saturn section of the Groundbirch Mainline at 14-21-80-20-W6M and terminate at the Blair Creek Receipt Meter Station located in Unit 30, Block K, Group 94-G-7.

A new application of an existing technology has been tested and will be implemented by the Coastal GasLink Facilities Engineering team to reduce methane emissions on the project’s compressor and meter stations.
