TC Energy commends announcement of nation-building projects to connect and transform Canada's economy

We’re proud of the role we played in enabling Canadian LNG exports through Coastal GasLink (CGL), providing Canada's first direct path for natural gas to reach global markets. The inclusion of LNG Canada’s Phase 2 on the government's nation-building projects list reflects the essential role energy infrastructure plays in Canada's economic sovereignty and energy security. Subject to a positive final investment decision (FID) from our customer, LNG Canada, CGL Phase 2 could double export capacity, without any new pipe in the ground. We are progressing critical development work to support LNG Canada in their FID.
