More than 40% of TC Energy’s workforce lives in the U.S.

Our workforce of about 8,700 people across North America works hard to help transport the energy needed to power communities and businesses in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. Of this workforce, more than 3,500 live in the U.S.

TC Energy Center is an iconic element of Houston’s skyline

The building that houses TC Energy’s U.S. headquarters at 700 Louisiana Street was renamed the TC Energy Center in October 2019. TC Energy leases more than 300,000 square feet of the 56-story building, making us its largest tenant. The landmark building has been around since 1983 and was designed by renowned architect Philip Johnson. TC Energy Center has a famously striking appearance due to its distinct postmodern style and its red Swedish granite exterior.

Our natural gas meets a quarter of U.S. natural gas demand

We serve about 25 percent of the U.S. demand for natural gas. Our gas reaches many different places, such as residential homes, commercial buildings and industrial facilities. It also serves many different purposes, including power generation, heating and cooling. To safely meet these varied energy needs every day for many Americans, we operate more than 32,700 miles of pipeline spanning 40 U.S. states—that’s more than enough pipe to circle the Earth—as well as 535 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of regulated storage.

Our U.S. Natural Gas system on Jan. 30, 2019 moved a company-record 33.1 Bcf of gas, as Americans sought to stay warm during the middle of winter.
