Sur de Texas – Tuxpan Pipeline

Overview

In June 2016, TC Energy partnered with IEnova, a Mexican infrastructure company, to work together on Sur de Texas – Tuxpan Pipeline. Running almost entirely under the Gulf of Mexico, this 800 km (497 mile) long pipeline will deliver clean-burning natural gas to families and businesses in the state of Veracruz.

Documents and maps

The Sur de Texas – Tuxpan Pipeline will supply natural gas generation plants in Tamaulipas and Veracruz, providing families and businesses with a stable source of the electricity they need.

The pipeline, from the United States to Mexico, will transport natural gas through an underwater route in the Gulf of Mexico, near Brownsville, Texas, ending in Tuxpan, Veracruz.
