Station 802 C1 Unit Addition
|
Overview |
TransCanada PipeLines Limited (TCPL) applied to the National Energy Board (NEB), predecessor to the Canada Energy Regulator (CER), for an order approving the construction and operation of the Station 802 C1 Unit Addition, located in the municipality of Saint-Phillippe, Québec.
This Project is part of the TQM Reinforcement Program that encompasses a joint facility planning effort between Trans Québec & Maritimes Pipeline Inc. (TQM), Énergir, L.P. (Énergir), and TCPL. More information about this Program is available on the TQM site.
The TQM Reinforcement Program will result in an increase in flow of natural gas through Station 802, thereby increasing the required compression power at site. The purpose and scope of this Project is to add an additional compressor unit at Station 802 to ensure contractual demand obligations continue to be met. The anticipated in-service date for the facility is November 2022.
