East Lateral XPress Project

Overview

The East Lateral XPress (ELXP) project will provide 725 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) of firm natural gas transportation capacity on TC Energy’s Columbia Gulf Transmission Pipeline to a new delivery point in Plaquemines Parish, La., where the gas will be routed to Venture Global’s new Plaquemines LNG export facility.

The total capacity addition consists of 575 MMcf/d from a customer trading point in Rayne, La., and 150 MDth/d from a Columbia Gulf meter station in Venice, La. The new delivery point in Plaquemines Parish will feed Venture Global’s proposed Gator Express Pipeline, which will be linked to the Plaquemines LNG export facility.

Virtual Open House

Normally we'd be hosting pre-construction open houses for the East Lateral XPress Project in project communities in Louisiana, but in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we've gotten creative to make sure our stakeholders and landowners still have an opportunity to connect with us.

We invite you to visit the virtual open house to learn all about this critical project, view the interactive map, and submit feedback or questions.
